“HI MARGARITAN"
Gentle winds spoke
to the waters.
On that first day,
While the salt
Ardently fell in love
with Margaritan shoals
Soon fishes, sons
Of their sons
Were romping.
With man..
And before
The Carib warrior
Appeared
The fisherman fell
That his fate
Was locked.
**
in the heart
Of an oyster
Much earlier
Than the arrival
Of Morillo,
Long, long before
Jets roared
In the sky,
The soil knew
That her soul
Was none other than
The serene fisherman.
A Margaritan is
Endless waves in the sea
And the tireless rock.
He ís white sun-light
In copper-toasted skin.
He is virle stone,
**
Cool sand
And warm air
All united in a single
Hospitable spirit;
Man and island
Bound forever.
In the sea-green
Of a common tomorrow.
Margarita is
The Margaritan.
The Margarilan
Is Margarita -
Bones
Of the same sun
Song
Ofa single moot.
