Una carta olvidada en el bolsillo e ilegible

después de pasar por la lavadora,

la mirada en la que no me he fijado,

la voz de lo no dicho, el aliento del campo temblando

en resonancias momentáneas,

el cotidiano y único rostro de mi madre que se ha ido.

Los pormenores son lo amado.

Cada vez quedan menos en este mundo civilizado.

Industria, grandes cantidades de lo mismo.

Y ni gota de lo otro. Pensaba el retrato

del exánime dedo meñique de tu mano izquierda

en el museo de los más íntimos recuerdos,

pero reproducirán mi mente y mi corazón huidizo

y no sé dónde protegerte.

The details are the most important…

The letter in the pocket, forgotten and unreadable

after laundry and tumble dry,

the gaze I looked through, and passed by,

the voice of the unuttered,

the breath of a field, shaking in instant reactions,

the everyday, and only, face of my mother, who is gone.

The details are what we love.

There are fewer and fewer of them in this civilized word.

Industries, huge amounts of the same nothing.

And not a drop of the other. I was thinking the portrait

of the exhausted little finger of your left hand

in the museum of the most intimate memories,

But someone will reproduce my mind, my heart too,

And I don’t know where to shield you.

след като е преминало през пералнята,

погледът, който отминах без внимание,

гласът на неизреченото, дъхът на полето трептящо

в светкавични отзиви,

всекидневното единствено лице на майка, която си отиде.

Все по-малко остават в света цивилизован.

И ни капка друго. Мислех портрета

на изнемощялото малко пръстче на лявата ти ръка

в музея на най-интимните спомени,

но ще репродуцират моят ум и сърцето ми

и не зная къде да те съхраня.

Zhivka Baltadzhieva es una poeta bilingüe que nace en Sofia, Bulgaria, en 1947. En 1971 se licencia en filología búlgara y rusa por la Universidad de Sofia “Kliment Ohridski” y trabaja primero en la Radio Nacional y más tarde en la revista literaria Plamak. Vive permanentemente en Madrid, España desde el año 1990. Es Doctora en Filología Eslava y Lingüística Indoeuropea y casi dos décadas ha sido profesora en la Universidad Complutense. Actualmente dirige Colección Ala Este, Amargord Ediciones. Su obra de los últimos 20 años está simultáneamente escrita en sus dos idiomas – el búlgaro materno y el español que la ha acogido. Es autora de varios libros de poesía, guiones de cine documental, ensayos, traducciones a búlgaro y a español. Biografía completa.
